Default torque converter mounting tab
My mounting tab separated from converter can I reweld it or will it throw it out of balance

It can be re-welded....but would need re-balanced IMO

Take it to a converter shop, they will give to the best answer after seeing the problem.

I would inspect where the tab broke and check for any misalignment issues between the engine and transmission also. Eric L
