Great news! Cale and Tinzy Aronson of Black Magic Clutches have come on board with the SpeedMu11et's efforts for 2017. This is a paramount step forward as clutch management is a tough concept to wrap your head around, and having folks like Cale and Tinzy on board with our program is huge. I'm looking forward to seeing what sort of gains are to be had. I will need a data logger and that is going to be my very next purchase after the trans is taken care of.
Cale reviewed the combo and sent me these ratios.

pretty excited. the trans is almost paid for now and i am hoping to take delivery before the end of the year.
As for Monster Clutches, I am still a huge fan boy of Steve's stuff and Steve and I have an amazing relationship still. I intend on using one of his clutches in every street car build I have my hands in. When looking at the nuts and bolts of my program, it makes the most sense to move away from the diaphragm clutch and put a long-style adjustable in for maximum clutch management control.

I have to ask though...how high you spinning it out the backdoor to see 135-140 range in high gear ?

i go through the traps at 7400ish now. it's been as high as 136 mph. those calculators do not account for tire growth at speed. it may or may not mean it will get together sooner, but what it does mean is less chance for it to go together wrong the first time

Ok, that rocks back and forth and eliminates the H pattern correct? What are the chances you won't have to move the through floor existing shifter hole? I cannot wait to see this thing in action on your car Matt. It isn't even my **** and I'm excited about it. Lol.

yes correct, no h-pattern, just a vertical gate.

wouldn't that require some additional goofy adapter flywheel or pilot bearing extension or something? this bell is supposed to be able to work with factory ls1 type flywheels. although i'm not certain what Cale is going to be doing for me yet anyway, lol.

If a guy runs any regular LS flywheel, it will need to be drilled for the type of clutch you plan to run
