Default Is this carb too big?

I have a lq4 motor, 243 heads, victor jr intake, n/a. Not 100% what cam yet. I'm getting a deal on a 850 demon carb. Is that carb to big for my combo? It's gonna mainly street driven. Thanks

Not knowing the rest of your set up, I will say most likely yes. The 850s have a big venturi and they can be a bit lazy and fussy on a 6 liter. The 750 Holley is typically the perfect carb size for your average street driven 6 liter.

Demon carbs are wet flow rated Vs. Holley's dry flow rating.
A 750 Demon on a Holley bench will flow 930+cfm (per Barry Grant's Tech guy I was talking to) and this is why so many people get into issues with Demons.
I would say an 850 Holley "may" be fine....but not an 850 Demon.
