Building a new car. Should be 2600#. 1976 Datsun 280Z. LS3 from Katech dynoed 585 hp. Ditching the fuel injection. Going to try Holley's new med rise 2x4 intake 300-133 and a pair of Holley 450cfm 0-9776.
Using a T56 and aluminum flywheel. 9" Ford with 325x60x15 Drag Radials.
7,000 rpm drop the clutch and hang on.
I know, I know single carb and Victor JR make more power.
I'm looking for old school look.
AND I have used these carbs before and can make them work.
Now I'm going to look at a diferent cam.

I bit the bullet and bought a pair of 660 center squirters to use on the Holley two four intake. They are used so I'm sending them out to get re-colorized. I want that old school look. I just need a cam to go with this combo. I hope it fits under the hood. Intake has a 5.5" rear and 4.5" front carb pad height.

I had a ls3 with the holley hi ram with two 660 carbs. Martin at tick performance sent me a custom grind cam that worked perfect. My truck weighed 3000lbs and ran 10.51 at 127mph on motor with a crappy 60'with that setup
