Default LS1 Carb swap recommendations on 41 Chevy Pickup?

Hey guys. new to the forum and am looking for suggestions on a good package to swap my 97 Corvette LS motor to a carb setup in my 41 Chevy pickup. It is a stock motor with headers and may install a cam. It will be a weekday driver/ weekend track day machine. It also has a turbo 400 with a 9inch posi rear end if that makes a difference. Thanks.

Prevailing opinions will say a dual plane intake, 750 carb and MSD ignition box. That should support pretty much whatever you do with cam and exhaust.

Read through the stickies at the start of this section. Lots of good info

Don't get the Edlebrock ignition, MSD only, they are more programmable

Check the for sale section. Carb'd LS parts are pretty common used now.

Don't shy away from a single plane intake but that is always an opinion fest. Match the intake to your cam and gearing. Without overdrive the single plane might be a better fit RPM wise.

Hope you have lots of tire.

750DP for best track times or VS for MPG/street fun.

Thanks for your replys guys. Am looking forward to share the build with you guys as it moves along. Already have endless hours of frame and running gear setup and will post pix as I get back into her. Just moved and shes had to sit for a while while getting the family settled.
PMed Mike at SK and am looking forward to going over any options he would have for me on a carb, manifold, MSD package.

Mike is great to deal with and got me some parts that he doesn't even carry drop shipped.
Best prices too beating Jegs/Summit even with shipping costs.
