They are similar sizes, as you can see in pics. I couldn't justify the cost especially when my mate tickled the ports on my ls3 supervic. Aiming for 700+hp, back on dyno shortly

Not sure if you have ever seen a mast 4500. But they are a thing of beauty. But I saw a comparison that mast used their heads and their 4150 intake on a big inch LS and I believe it made 836HP and then they bolted on a set of 245 AFR's with a Super Vic cathedral ports. And it made 822HP I believe. Wasn't that big of difference. I was shocked.

That's the heads probably more than anything else. Mast heads are a bit overrated, better value heads out there these days IMO.

In the test, there was like ten different combos. The Mast set up came in first, with the AFR 245 set up a close second. None of the other set ups even broke 800 HP. The Mast set up was Rectangle Port, and the AFR's were Cathedral. I believe The AFR's are really under rated, because they are Cathedral. When in fact, they flow as much, or more, than the others, even Rectangle port. I would bet if the super victor was ported and polished like the mast was. That combo would have produced as much, or even more, than the Mast set up. The point I'm trying to make is, you don't have to spend crazy money, to get a bad azz set of heads. I'm not sure what it would cost to do a super vic up like the mast intake. But I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be $1050.00 to get her done. (price difference between the two intakes) They were both 4150 intakes also.

Yeah the AFR heads are kick *** for a 245cc intake, and the super vic was probably still holding them back a little.
