e test and tune was a bust would not run slowed down 3 tenths,, 6.8's but close passes tho the super vic will go on and change back to pump gas back like it was,,,, will tell some info prob sunday.

well the new carb with super vic intake, best pass after weather cooled down 1.44 at 6.48..... I getting to think the super vic is to big for what I have.. I'm going to not touch carb and put the vic jr back on for this weekend race..

I opened up the ports a bit. I was using CNC ported heads that had a lot more cross section. So, I did not want to have less cross section in the intake.
The challenge that I had with the cathedral Vic Jr. is that the cross section of the ports at the plenum were the same as my cylinder head's port entry cross section. So, when I was done, there was no port taper left in the intake manifold. It would have been pretty easy to add some port taper to the center cylinders, but would have been pretty tough to do on the outer cylinders due to the port size, port curve and plenum access.
