Default Help me pick a car.

So, I have a 5.3,carb intake, carb, edelbrock box,cam and springs,th350 and hughes converter, sbc swap mounts. Basically looking for something to throw this mismatched extra,"junk" lol parts 5.3 in. By mismatched i mean 600 edelbrock carb, cam is 230/230 a little over .600 lift. converter is 3000k stall, junk edelbrock box. Question is what do i put it in? Looking for something cheap and easy obviously. I was thinking g-body,full size truck,s10. Any suggestions?

Thinking.... any 60-87 GM you can find cheap would be easy/cheap.

There are quite a few f body v6 camaros laying around. My friend just picked up a 96 that is almost flawless for $800.00. Then you can sell the motor, trans, rear end, and the rest of the parts that your not going to use, and basically have a free Chassis.

I do like the idea of ending up with a almost free chassis.

Having bad luck with the g-bodies. Every time I find one for cheap the floors and/or the rear frame is completely rusted out.

Im starting to lean towards a 88+ rcsb truck or a 94+ rcsb s10, only because Ive actually been able to find these in decent shape for cheap. Would one be cheaper/easier than the other?

I have my motor in a 92 gmc stepside. The money is not expensive for the swap it just depends how crazy you want to get with the motor

As far as easy they make motor mounts ,and headers specifically for this swap and being carbureted I was able to run the factory fuel pump. I just used a regulator to get the pressure down

The lightest but cheapest car you can find. Lol.

Fox bodies are easy to find. A 280Z would be awesome but not usually cheap. Datson pick up truck? There is a awesome selection out there. Lol

I wouldnt mind a fox but all the cheap ones are convertibles here. Datsun truck would be cool but every one is rusted in two pieces like all the jap trucks from around then. I would really like to find a notch back vega, hell any vega.

Also Id prefer vehicles that have bolt in parts and will need limited to zero fab work.

Well, the S10, third gen F body, and G body all come to mind for off shelf support for LS treatment.
