Default msd 6010 timing ? timing or actual

so I load a timing curve in the box when car is running you look at the gauge on lap top timing, rpm, rpm matches my tack perfect but the timing is 5 to 6 degrees off lets say my timing is 20 at 1.000 the gauge shows 26 degrees I can make a another timing curve witch I did. if I load 15 degrees at 1000 I will have 20-21 degrees on lap top gauges so is the curve wrong or gauge thanks

I know you said you are not using the MAP sensor, but did you make sure you zero'd out the MAP graph and hit save?
