Default First 10sec pass!

Ran a new best yesterday

10.96 @ 120

Got a new carb from Prosystems on it now. Still tweaking and testing. I picked up a tenth and 1 mph so far, and that was in 85° heat with a DA near 3000. We really havent had any track days with good air this season. Hoping for some later this fall.

I also got my best 60 foot yesterday of 1.49 but it was on a different run and I had to let out because the car next to me got a lil squirrely.

I think with good air and everything coming together on a good pass, 10.70 is well within range.

Heres a nice slomo video a friend of mine captured

Love the G bodies. Great Job. Through a ARB on there. Will keep the chssis from twisting resulting in quicker times.

Thanks, been thinking about getting one. I drive it on the street a lot though.

Anyone know if there are certain brands that would be more street friendly than others?

All the brands of ARB that I saw use solid ends (Heims) I wouldn't worry about it. I've had mine for almost 4 years now. The 1st year I did disconnect it when driving and then just got to lazy and stopped. No issues yet. Probably one of the biggest noticeable difference in my car when leaving. I would say I did hear clunking noises when I did the bar and aluminum bushings in the rearend housing. I got use too after a while after I convinced myself nothing was broken lol.

Get the pro series ARB from Spohn. It is basicly a chrome moly heavy duty sway bar with hiem jointed links. We have one on our car because we do a lot of street driving. You don't even notice anything. It is a few pounds heavier. But it holds our car perfectly straight both on the launch as well as down track or in our case down road. Makes a big difference on not so level roads with dips. Seems like it keeps the tires planted better at 100+ on a bullshit road. At least that is what we have found. They have one for your G body.

Wow man, good job! I haven't visited the carb section for a while. Gotta say it's been fun seeing your car go from a bone stock LQ4 to this faster 10sec setup.

Thanks! Been a lot of fun, I really enjoy the mix of tinkering with the carb and the laptop.

From what I remember long time ago Quaker City was almost a tenth slow for 9.90 because of the elevation.

Yes it also goes uphill starting about the 1/8th through the finish. You will always have a slightly faster ET and more MPH at other tracks. Elevation is about 1200'.
