Need a cheap intake !
Need a cheap intake ! Anyone have an intake (carbed LS) laying around for a cathedral port engine? Im helping my 18 yr old put his first LS engine together and his budget is TIGHT. We are dropping a used gen III 5.3 in his 4x4 Sonoma. We are gonna put my old Fast EZ EFI TB on it. Its a manual 5 spd truck (NV3500) and we are gonna bolt the 5.3 to the 5 spd. He is about to do his first port job on the heads and we picked up a mild cam (220-224, 581-581, 114+1). I dont think it will matter much if its a single or dual plane.

I have a brand new Edelbrock Performer RPM (dual plane) for cathedral port heads that I'm going to be listing in the For Sale section.
It's just intake only, no hardware, but I talked to Edelbrock and they can/will sell the rest of the hardware. You can pickup intake gaskets from anywhere that sells them as well.
