Default 4th gen electric fans

Anyone know how many amps the stockers pull? I'm getting ready to wire a set up and want to make sure I do it right

Found this on another site, he was referring to ls1 fans I believe. Not sure on the draw for fans from an LT1 car. "These fans run together draw 57 amps for a split second on start-up, then continuously draw 13.6 amps while running at 100%"

I get the cheap 40-amp self-resetting breakers from Autozone and run both fans on them. Works fine.

GM uses a 40 amp "maxi fuse" for each fan. Circuit breakers are good alternative. Standard ATO/ATC fuses have no use in circuits that carry more than 15-20 amps continuously.

It's a lot easier on the electrical system to start one fan at a time at full power OR start both fans at half power (low speed) then switch to full power (high speed)
