Default 6012 to 6014

Quick question. Has anyone swapped from a 6010 or 6012 to a 6014 ? My son gave me a new in the box 6014 and i like the 3D maps and built in map sensor ( turbo car ). I also like the timing retard option at elevated engine temps.
My question is on the install. Is the main harness connector the same. It would be nice to just unplug the 6012 and plug up the 6014, instead of opening up the wiring can of worms and replacing all the 6012 harness with the 14 .
thanks in advance for the input.

Thanks zone..... i was afraid of that. Oh well, i need to tidy up the underhood wiring anyway. I got kinda lazy tucking everything in when i dropped the fitech 1200 TB on it.

Did yall have any problems loading msdview when you set the box up ? It took all day fighting to get the box to come on line. It never would save a curve i plotted either. I got plenty of practice playing with the 3D mapping though ! I plotted my curve about 10 times before it finally downloaded to the box. At least i hope it downloaded, lol ! I have to get through that tangle of wires under the hood and pull the 6012 before i can get things moving with the new box.
i will report back on how it works out once i get it all back together.

The new wiring harness is actually much nicer and easier to install. I just wish mine would read the cam sensor.
