Default Carb Intake Backwards

Well I think Im an idiot, did I install this intake backwards? Didnt think it would bolt in both ways but lined up perfect so assumed I had it right. Does it need to be flipped? Thanks in advance.

you can run them either way, just depends where you want the vacuum port

I think the carb flange may be angled slightly one way to compensate for engine leaning back a bit? Im not near the engine now to measure, maybe not enough to matter? The port works better in the front for me which is why I originally set it on like that haha

I don’t recall my single plane being angled but I’m not 100% sure it wasn’t.

Did anyone verify if the carb flange was angled or flat?
