I love my 4th Gen and never plan on selling it. I love pretty much everything about the car and always get a smile on my face when I drive it. Appearance wise the 4th Gen and 5th Gen have different looks to them. The 4th Gen is low-sleek type of design, where the 5th Gen is a retro (Hard lines). So a bit hard to compare appearance wise IMO.
I do like the 5th Gens. But I pretty much plan to get a C6 Z06 and a Viper GTS next in my collection (while keeping the Z of course). Money pending though

I love mine. 2001 Z28 A4. Only been a Camaro owner for about 3 years. The 5th Gen? I need to see it in person. I don't like the back/taillights. It seems like car companies get most of their cars looking good until you get to the back where the design got outsourced. Look what they did to the 2010 Mustang! I was looking at a magazine article about the Mustang that had several photos from different angles but none from the back. HaHa. My opinion is that we have cars that are still faster, handle better and still look better then much newer cars that cost 3 times what are cars do. Why change...

I just got mine.
It's new to me and easily the nicest, fastest thing I could afford at this point in my life.
Exactly. The 5th gens don't look like updated fourth gens, so the fourth gens don't look outdated to me.

Love it, course I've only had mine since August. This car's been my dream car since I was college (the first time), and now I finally have it. Once we figure out what direction my wife's school is taking her I'll get started on upgrades.

The 4th gen cars are not accepted as hot rods like the 1st and 2nd gen camaros.
I have a 69 and a 00 cars. The 4th gen is quicker, faster, handles better, safer, and all around a better car. When i take out the 4th gen car i get comments as boy they really changed the looks of that camaro.
I could afford a ss 5th gen at msrp, but the car is just missing something.

I pretty much like all camaros, from day 1 to present. Some may not have been the fastest, but they have always been a good looking car to me. I love mustangs too but i cant say the same about the mustang, as there were some ugly models. Id love to have a older Camaro but think i will always keep my 95 Z28, and just have to add to the collection.

Personally, I still love mine and she takes me for a drive everyday!! I was apprehensive when I went from 3rd to 4th gen...but I'm glad I did. The IROC was gone a long time ago, but the 02 is here to stay if I can help it...no 5th gen for me! I'll just buy a supercharger and smoke all of you in that 5th gen!!! Ha ha ha

i still love my 4th gen and you should too! are cars are affordable and many parts are available for them and we ussually dont have warranties to worry about so we can do what we want to our cars. i wonder if the first gen camaro owners thought the same thingwhen the second gen came out. but even with newer generations the first gen camaro is still a desired and wanted car. so i thing the bad rap about the 4th gen will fade with time
