My 98 car didnt have any extra options. Just the hood, spoiler, and wheels and I was able to call SLP and get the #. That means its an SLP SS. #1370 to be exact. If SLP doesent have your number then your car isnt a factory SS(means somebody copy catted it). Something I was very paranoid about when shopping for an LS1 a couple years ago.

 

wow, gone for 2 days, this thread spiraled way outta control lol. Update, the car didnt sell, the price is down, but wont be back on the market to fall... by then i should be ready to buy it.

 

I picked up my immaculate red 02 ss, full optioned, cme and all 6spd with 30k miles for 14.5k however it is a modified car.. sounds a bit high at 17.5k .. that price is about a year ago.. now that car is about 15k.

 

Sounds like a good deal to me, got my stock 01 ss m6 with the 345hp package, ultra performance suspension package, bfgoodrich tires, gmmg exhaust and carbon fiber lid with 27k miles for $18k. Perfect condition, not a single mark on her, and still isnt.

haha, it was on a main road, that was a turnout. Look to the left of the picture you'll see the road. Trust me, I overly baby this thing, would never drive on a dirt road.
