Default Vert vs T-Tops/ How rare/ Help convince gf

Which do you guys like better? I used to own a 98 z28 with t-tops and liked it but didnt use them too much. The reason Im asking is after some recent problems with my gf's cobalt Ive finally convinced her to start looking for a camaro. A friend of mine has a 2002 camaro SS SOM Vert at his dealership and we're going to look at it thursday, how rare is it? I personally have only seen maybe 3 som camaros 1 being an SS and none being verts. The gf doesnt like the look of the vert as it sits, can you guys post some pictures of yours?

Thanks in advance, I know im asking alot lol

I used to have a 98 Vert Camaro, its was alright, the vert is more for chicks IMO.

Messes with the look of the car, but its still alright.

I have T-tops on my 95 Camaro right now, I love them so far, fairly quick to remove and its almost the same thing while keeping the normal line of the car.

Overall I think T-tops > vert.

EDIT: Here's some pics of my vert;

As for how rare that SOM vert is, I've seen two in the DFW area, but thats it.
Not too many verts around, so my bet is pretty rare, I just got lucky.

I looked on camaroz28.com and it says that the 2002 camaro ss som vert auto is 1 in 46. Im hoping the vert grows on us some or the deal is right. Luckily it will be her daily driver so no worries on the chick car part. We also have an 82 z28 w/ t-tops and a 6 speed that will be getting a big block as a weekend car.

No problem, We went and looked at the car last night and It looks like we may get it. The driver seat is getting reupholstered so once its done we're going to drive it to make sure everything runs right. Is there anything we should look for?

Mines not SOM but I love my vert. I love the stance with the tops down but I just washed it so I cant put em down yet. I'll take more with the tops down with the cover on it. If the car has stock size tires then its going to look a bit lame but put 315s on the back and its badass.

Some pics...and then some more

I have a SOM SS A4 t-top its 1 of 170 or so. the vert is by far the more rare of the two. If you find one & don't buy it tell me where it's at & I'll buy it.
