What did you do to your Camaro today?

so we were busy today. first off car is a 94 z28 M6. Did flowmaster muffler, welded. that was fun, i hate exhaust. and then did brake pads and rotors. turns out the cheapies from AZ had the anti-rattle clip hanging out a little too far, broke off when i first back up with the car. The wheel was slightly catching it, cheap metal breaks easy. oh well, fixed that.
So the original pads and rotors we almost new. With one exception...MAJOR heat damage. either the previous owner has been riding the brakes like an old lady, or at 130mph and slamming the brakes alot. either way, used to shake me off the wheel ;-) NOT ANYMORE!

oh, also ordered another visual mod...headlight covers. for whatever reason some people are hating on me for it..but i love the look, and it makes it a little more aero too ;-)
Already have VHT lights front and rear, 80's vette wheels, chrome lettering in berger panel, and a neon bar inside

Today I ordered an SS spoiler, also washed the car. But last week I installed HID's, upgraded the big3, replaced all the speakers with one of Kee Audio's packages and added a subwoofer. I feel like its a totally different car. Can't wait to get the spoiler, the stock z28 one looks like a$$.

Are the headlight covers clear or smoked? I think they'd be good for protecting the lights from rock chips as well.

Bought It My son is in the Air Force (username: Camarorokr) and has been jonesing for an LS1 ever since he got his first Camaro at 16. I found him a pristine black '02 335 hp SS 6 spd. with center mounted exhaust and only 73k on the ticker. I plan to haul it to Wichita Falls, TX from NC in the next week or so to him after I get the windows tinted.

Changed the oil to PP 10w 30, and used a 6.0 "2006 p/n" K&n oil filter, 6 q's of the stuff! Vs/ Mobil 1 I like it so far, my oil pressure at WOT is close to 80! Also washed it. I will be soon ordering some Black Ice or w/e u call it, and some Merzenra polish/wax with new buffer. Gotta bring that shine back!

I agree. Super nice of you! I'm sure he'll flip when he sees it.
On mine, I still have lots of details to go but knocked out a few more today. Hooked up the turbo oil feed line and the drain line. Put the new inlet seal on the T76 Turbo and torqued it down to the Hotside. I hope to get to at least 2 hours worth of stuff per day till she's running again. ETA is April 18th.
