take alittle at a time, and get the right stance your after, 1.5inches works great in most , i use eibach 1.5 drop, never use a torch to cut springs, NO HEAT

i just did mine and it turned out really good....i've got the eibach pro kit and it just wans't low enough for me in the front.....plus it is an older eibach set and they are notorious for sagging in the rear.....so, i took 3/8 of a coil off of each front......it dropped my car approx 3/4 inches.....then i did the heater hose mod in the rear to raise it about 1/4......easy as pie and free....+ 1 on not using heat....it will make the spring weaker....i used an air cutoff wheel......fenders measure 26 1/2 rear and 26 1/4 front...good luck

cutting coil springs with "heat" is supposed to be a big no-no......no torches or plasma
