Hey guys I was wondering if I can get your opinions on the pro50 shifter with a lou's short stick. I'm fairly new to manual transmissions so would it be easy to install the shifter? Also, I was looking at getting a new shifter ****, I really like the 08+ Z06 *****, does anybody have one and will it work with the short stick?

I have a Pro 5.0 with LSS and the Z06 ****. I have had it for a few years without any problems. I bought the shifter and LSS from Afterthoughts. They had an option that had the short stick with a slight angle to it. I went with that. Very easy install. The worse part was trying to get the boot off without breaking that flimsy clip. It didn't work for me. There is a guy on here that sells a metal clip. There was a thread about that not to long ago. Some guys have made their own clip. At the dealer, the boot and clip come as one piece.I followed the instructions from installuniversity.

where did you get the z06 shift **** from? I'm seeing them all over ebay but I wasn't looking to spend $90 on a ****

I got mine from Ebay. I had a discount and alot of "ebay bucks" so it wasn't as high. You can get the **** from the dealer and then get the correct threaded piece and install it on the LSS.
