Default 98Z engine removal

I've seen them removed from the bottom with the subframe, BUT can the V8 Fbody engine be removed from the top with leaving the subframe still bolted up, it's a 6 spd,????

Yes it can, this is the only way I've pulled my motor.

The first time I pulled it, the six speed was still bolted up

That's sounds great cause I was thinking bottom only, by taking it out from the top I can push the car around afterwards, thinks for that info, top it is.

that is the same reason I took mine out the top, if I needed the garage for something I could push the car outside
