Default 98 Z28 Wheels and Tires

I need some help with wheels and tires for my 98 z28 camaro! im finally to the point where i want to start making changes to it as a way to keep this car hot for years to come.

My first project is new wheels and tires. i want staggered 18's and want to get the widest i can on front and back without haveing to modify it....i want to modify as little as possible.

im going to get some 18x8.5 for the front and 18x9.5 for back...i want to put 245's up front and the biggest i can get under the back without having to mod anything...

will 285's or 295's fit back there or is 275's the widest i can get without having to modify???

A guy I used to know had a WS6 with gunmetal Z06 wheels (replica or not, i duno), but he had 295 BFG KDW IIs on the rear and it didn't rub. I've heard you need to run 1" spacers on the rears for the 18" C6 wheels. Not sure if this holds true for all Vette wheels, but I had replica 17" C6 wheels and didn't need them. My best friend had black 17" GM Z06 wheels on his '99 SS and didn't need spacers. That COULD make a difference, but I'm not experienced in this field. Can only tell ya what I know
