Default got the car done! ran pretty good

ok its been along time since i posted anything, but the car is done! Im still in the breakin period and it runs pretty good but needs a dyno tune. My trannys 2nd gear is out and cant get it to shift hardly ever. the car has a stock 10bolt that lasted about 5 weeks before it broke 2 spider gears on the street. i know it was dumb but i went racing last nite at cordova il without a trailer and didnt fix the rearend. I was pretty happy with the results and made it home, but the rearend wines really bad.
here are my time slips
1st pass 2.230 60ft
9.014 1/8 mile
88.39 mph
13.270 1/4
116.39 mph missed 2nd and 3rd

2nd pass 2.5 60ft
8.755 1/8
90.75 mph
12.936 1/4
119.27 mph left in second gear

3rd pass 2.070 60ft
8.115 1/8
81.79 mph
12.516 1/4
114.44 mph missed 2nd hung up on third and fourth

4th pass 1.86 60ft
7.676 1/8
94.18 mph
11.767 1/4
121.58 mph slow granny shifting but made every gear count

5th pass 1.910 60ft
8.338 1/8
90.04 mph
12.534 1/4
119.03 mph hung up on 2nd and fourth tranny sucks 200k

6th pass 2.03260ft 7.8431/8 94.54mph 11.910 1/4 122.74 mph

Is your transmission built? If not you better look up D&D or Tranzilla or someone, also call Spec or McLeod and have a twin disk ordered up!

those are some pretty horrible times, but i bet you most of your shifting problems are the stock master cylender. if you didnt do the drill mod then thers no way your going to shift good and fast at high rpms.

your car has alot more in it you need to get those sixty foot times down but of coarse you need the new rear end first.

hopefully its not just the driver needing the mod

with a stock rearend and a tranny where you cant shift it you cant exspect to much better im lookin at the mph hp to weight ratio the tranny has 200 k on it and is stock im going to rebuild it with performance parts and get a mwc rearend as soon as i can afford it.

Default camaro

alright its been along time since i post any progress on my car. i ran tonite at cordova dragway and made 7 passes and missed second on 6 of them. tranny sucks and needs a rebuild. but the good news i ran a 1.54 60ft 6.92 1/8 at 100.72mph and 10.83 1/4 at 128.03 mph. looks like its not so doggy after all ! only changes where v6 rear springs and a 100lbs takin out.

next season

drag bar
front coil overs
fast intake
new trans
e/t drags
1 7/8 headers
more weight savings
dyno tune
and 150 shot of nos hopin for 9s
