Default 85 IROC TPI, no injectors on start up, please help

Also, posted in small block section. Checked all wiring. We are not getting an injector pulse from the PCM on start up & only full voltage when starting w/ starting fluid. VSS box is missing. Is there a tach signal or other associated w/ the VSS unit that can be causing the problem? The injector circuit is powered. So we are good into the PCM, just nothing out while cranking. So, there is some condition that the PCM doesn't like, keeping the injectors from operating. Tried (2) different 85 PCM's, same problem w/ each.

As noted, car starts w/ starting fluid, & gets full voltage, no pulse, to the injectors while running. What are we missing? Am not aware of any VATS associated w/ the 85 PCM. Please comment.

SES flashes once w/ key on & then goes out. Checking ignition switch. Will add VSS module. Checked injector resistance & is good. If ignition switch is OK & VSS module has no effect, we will replace ignition control module.

Hmmm...no other thoughts?

Will post what corrects the problem, for the archives, once we confirm a solution.
