awesome awesome awesome thread! Lately I've been kicking around the idea of buying a 1st gen and going a resto-mod route with it. You've given me many great ideas for stuff I'd like

And thanks for all the compliments fellas!
BuddyP over at Pro-touring said that I haven't updated things in a while and I thought what the hell... let's keep'er rolling!
Ok, where to start... Well, I got on TV, 3 times!... LOL! That's a start.
I haven't seen it yet, but the MAV TV premiere of the OUSCI race showed a few very clear shots of my car. Here's one and in the panning shot you can see the girlfriend riding shot gun.
Then, I volunteered to be a part of the demonstrations for Car Craft Magazine Summer Nationals because they needed "pretty cars" for the cameras LOL. Kinda neat to the an autox all to myself!
CHannel 4 (local)
Channel 9 did a full 2 minute deal with the car where the reporter rode with me, MA Rosko is her name and she was really fun to have with!
Here's the shot of the interview I gave.
Me and MA Rosko
A shot of her on LIVE TV... If you look closely you can see the wide eyed grin expression HA!
Some of you may know Jesse Riggle and Troy Borgen. I hosted them at my house during the Car Craft show. Jesse had an accident and flipped his trailer, which held his twin turbo Trans-Am. It didn't fair well unfortunately, but Jesse was unhurt.
Hot rodding isn't always about wrenching on cars.
Camaro got some new hoops from Falken! YAY!! STICKIER RUBBER!! Those KDW's just weren't cutting it.
Went to a car show with a axle dyno by TPIS of CHaska MN. Not bad, 450rwhp. Feels slow *sad face*
Wanted SOOOO badly to try out the new rubber at the last autox of the year, but it rained... so poop on that idea.
Yea.. its wet. I still beat a couple C6's so i feel better.
Finally, in the winter there's not a lot of racing opportunities unless you have a snow rally car. So, my boy (he's 3) loves racing GT5 on my PS3 with the wheel. I asked him if he wanted a go-kart.... I think we have another racer on our hands!
That's all for now!

Ok, time for the smaller stuff.....
Working on brake stuff, installing the prop valve from Speedtech and their stainless lines. Gotta love pre-bent stuff!
Also, I cut a 3" hole in the firewall for all the LS electronics, you can see the hole in the upper part of the last photo.

That's the stock bracket that comes with the booster. I suppose you could get it separately, I've never tried but that would make sense.
