Default will 2000 hood fit on a '95 Z28

I have an Extreme Dimensions Urethane Vortex Hood
(http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/Ext...103856/613372/)

I'm pretty sure that the hood will fit with the fenders, obviously the lights are different between the 95 and 2000, but from what I can tell the main difference on the hood is the straight edge vs the 'rippled' edge over the lights.

the part I'm most concerned about is the front edge and how well the curvature with the fenders. currently both hoods are attached to different cars, otherwise I'd just give it a try right off, but figured I'd see if anyone else has tried this with a similar 98-2002 hood on a 93-97 frame using the 93-97 fenders and front bumper cover.

Thanks

No, it will not work. The fenders are different on the 98+ Camaro so they won't line up either. If you want a 98-02 hood, you'll have to convert the front end.

Well that's unfortunate.
Thank you for answering.

That same style hood is available for 93-97 Camaros. It's usually called a WS6 hood. I imagine a few of the sponsors here carry them.

Default I have the same idea!

I own a 2000 Chevy Camaro V6 5 speed base model. My boyfriend bought a 94 Z28 with LT1 but turns out the head gaskets are blown and the rear end had been wrecked so the back hatch don't even sit like it's supposed to and has huge gaps so he gave me permission to use body parts to make mine a little more fierce looking.. mine's pretty plain Jane so I want to take the high-rise Hood plus the front bumper cover and switch them over to mine and plus I like the double headlights instead of the one long one. Until I read this I was thinking that I could get by just using the hood and front bumper cover but now possibly may have to use the front fenders too? I was hoping not to have to change a whole lot and at first he wanted to keep the hood for some reason but my hood just won't sit correctly with the front bumper cover that's on the Z28. I only read the main post and excitedly pushed reply since we're on the same page wanting to do the same thing. So I guess that's my question too is if I would have to also change out the front fenders as well. Before I go jumping the gun I'm going to read on and see what everybody says and I could probably get my answer. Only things is my car is like a maroonish color and the Z28 is black with silver so now I'm just wondering how silly it might look cuz I really can't afford a paint job right now.. anywho everyone have a great day!

Yep, you'd still have to change everything. A lot of work for not a lot of gain. You'd be better off just changing out your wheels, that can make a world of difference in how a car looks.
