Default ls swap opion

Trying to get your opion on what motor to use in my 1967. My first choice is a 2006 GTO ls2 and my second is a L76 out of a 2007 chevy silverado. I'm not sure what the better choice is, They both have there plusses and not sure whch one to use. The ls2 is a pretty much drop in while the L76 has the better head but I would need to swap out the intake and do a dod delete whch involves a cam swap. So what sounds like the better choice to you?

L76...better heads, you don't have to do the dod delete, i think tsp has cams for the dod engines.

which can you pick up cheaper....that can make a difference also....

i did an LQ9 for my 3rd gen swap, and if i had to do it again, i would pick up a set of the heads off the L76 and go that route with my LQ9 block.

what are your plans for the car, autocross, drag car, weekend fun ride? weight may play a choice in that pick.
