Both wheels look awesome on the car! The only other thing I would do to the outside of the car is whistler the head lights

Its been a while since Ive updated this thread. Apart from a couple local shows this car has been sitting 95% of the time. I got a wild hair and ALMOST sold it a couple weeks ago. Some guy drove 150 miles to pick it up only for the starter to fail when he arrived It was wierd Ive never had a problem with this car and it wouldnt do anything but click when he got here. I couldnt do anything but laugh and offer him some gas $$. It was 830 a night during the week so swapping the starter out wasnt an option. Guess it wasnt meant to be. This was the second time Ive commited to selling this car and it fall through....Im keeping it forever now

Updates coming soon....

Picked up a starter off a 4.8 truck motor for $30, it was dirty but worked great. When I went to install it I found one of my origional bolts to be to short. After closer inspection the starters are a little different.

I did a bit of research and found the short bolt starter would break the ear off putting stress on the longer bolt and break the block so most people with an aluminum block are running the longer bolt starter.

If you switch from your stock ls1 starter to the long bolt starter you need two of these 15mm bolts...

Yearly update

My daily has finally given up the ghost so I'm going to drive this car for a while. I'm not sure how long this arrangement will last (100 miles a day @ $3.80 a gal) but Im looking forward to being back in a f-body.

The slipping 4l60e and garbage stall isn't going to work so I picked up this 60k mile replacement with factory converter.

I'm hoping this tranny will get me bye for a while until Im ready for the major overhaul. Ill post pics of the tranny swap as it goes.
