i have my 01 firehawk as my weekend/track car, and my 00 V6 camaro as my DD. i originally wanted a 'normal' car as a DD, but i hate FWD. the V6 camaro takes almost all the same maintenance parts as the firehawk (except oil filter, belt, headlights), so its less stuff to stock in the garage

Trans Am Ws6 ASC optioned.... Seems 96-97 SLP did the "additions" and 98-02 ASC did the SLP additions.
Haha.... looks like you've got it figured out now.

No SLP parts/additions nor involvement was present on the LS1 WS6 cars; they were entirely a product of GM and ASC. Only SS and Firehawk contained SLP additions in the LS1 years, with extra SLP content available to be ordered.

....for the record.

Ended up reading in that forum for about an hour, some good info!

Thank you for the initial correction.

Kicking around the thought of a certain 'Smurf' colored '99 in TX, currently on ebay, but previously owned by a prominent member here. Anyone have any thoughts about this car?

They only made that color 1 year, and only part of that year I think. I have one for sale for alot cheaper than that one if your interested.
