Default Replacing LS1 Starter on a Budget

Hey folks. Pulled the starter this morning on my 2002 Camaro Z28 (original starter!) and had it tested at Advance. Sure enough, bad starter. On their direct current tester they got it spinning (albeit slow with a nasty grinding noise), but the bendix wouldn't engage. On the car, all I was getting was a solenoid click.

So it's time to replace it, but the major parts stores all want $170 for a reman and around $250 minimum for a new one.

I did some digging online and came across this attractively priced starter--just thought I'd get everyone's thoughts and see if any of you out there have had experience with one of these:

My car is a stock M6.
