[QUOTE=Z28 6spd;17851576] yeah buddy, when i was at the car wash vaccuming it it began to snow pretty steadily, so i rushed home to beat the salt trucks and washed the car in the driveway instead, the snow let off just long enough for me to finish, once i closed the garage door, boom salt trucks and snow. pretty cool feeling haha. 2 hours later i took the wife out to eat and there was an inch of snow on the ground.
i took her for one last cruise, cleaned her up, and put her into hibernation, about 30 minutes before the snow hit, and the salt truck went by salting the roads....til next year ole girl.....
Now that's cutting it close! The true definition of drive it till the snow flies!

The front end is together. Installed k-member, bmr upper and lower adjustable control arms, Viking struts. Just need to do some adjusting and clean up. Installed a rear drag bar ( I don't care about the ride ) I don't drive it enough to care. Battery is all hooked up and bottle installed, well finishing it anyways

Wrapped up installing the new SLP Eibach/Bilstein springs/shocks, as well as new Founders Performance panhard rod and lower control arms on my 98 Z28. Rear was super easy, front was a little more difficult. I went to disconnect the front sway bar, and the end link was fucked...Who ever had it before me must have tried to remove it because the bolt and nut was damn near completly round and rusted together. Thought I was screwed because all of the how-to demos said to disconnect the sway bar.
Anyways searched here and found that a bunch of people did it with out disconnecting it, so I gave it a shot and it worked. Also put in a founders performance strut tower bar.
And holy crap what a difference. Feels like a brand new car, I am pretty sure it had the original 15 year old springs and shocks on it. All the rattles that it had before are gone.
Put some Mobile 1 and a new filter on to. Just gotta get it an alignment and its ready for dd duty. I want to change the fuel filter but gonna wait until its warmer.
**ETA**
Also need to try and fix the air pump. Sounds like it is running almost all the time. Thinking it might be a bad relay? I've got a whole airpump system as a spare, but hopefully a new fuse or relay will fix it.

Locked her down for the winter. At least until the interior plans are defined...and the chassis work location is decided...and the parts are removed for the body shop...and...

Christmas gifts have been passed out and my son isn't listening. So the dis-assembly of the stock calipers in preparation for Brembo's. Also time to dig into the exhaust. Cat-back will be bought end of the week and TSP ORY and headers will be bought in the NY. Goodbye AIR and EGR
