My newly acquired 2002 SS black/ebony has a less than perfect driver seat. The ebony leather has some wear and would like to replace with like material. What are my chances of finding OE leather seat material? Covering or entire donor seat? Available from GM?
If not, what are my options for replacing the seat material with something really close to OE? I realize this option would require covering both front seats to ensure match.

Your best bet might be to search the classifieds here for people parting their vehicles out. You could also check ebay or craigslist (or even call around to junk yards).

Thanks. Still looking. My first choice would be OE driver seat in excellent condition. I guess the salvage yards could search their locator??

I've never done the bottom part but the seat-back goes on a little harder than a pillow case. Had to let it sit in the sun before i could get it on as easily as I wanted..
