VIN does not match car?
According to the VIN, my car is a 1995. My car does not have a MAF, the front crossover on the fuel rails, or the "camaro" lettering on the passenger side of the dash. These are all characteristics of a 1993 camaro, right? Also, i believe my car to be the purple pearl metallic color that was only available from 1993-1994. Any ideas on what could be going on here?

I cant say on the dash.
The best way to check the paint IF it has not been repainted is to look up the paint code.
The 92 and 93 LT1 had the front fuel rail crossover IIRC.
There is so many things that could cause this confusion as the the year.

Call any dealer with last 8 of VIn they can tell you everything about the car including the build date.
If you are curious as to if there is a VIN mismatch remove the weather stripping on the passenger side A pillar. The last 8 of the VIN is stamped in the sheetmetal it is imprinted in reverse and will look funny until you look at it using a mirror. If the VINS don't match then you have problems and you can compare the VIN stored in the pcm while not alway's a dead ringer with as many of us have swapped pcm's through the years it may bring some peace of mind if match's as well.
