Default Black Mirrors vs Body Color Mirrors

I'm going to look at a 99 SS today, obviously they come with black mirrors. I was wondering, just for giggles, if the mirrors for the 2000-2002 mount the same as the 98-99 mirrors?

I work for a dealer, but Partech isn't open on Saturdays, and they're not very good.

The only difference is paint. '00+ cars all came with body colored mirrors regardless of engine. Prior to that the black mirrors were found on V8 models, or obviously black cars regardless of engine.

Yeah, I knew that. I just wanted to swap, if possible. I prefer body color over black on a white car. I can pick up a set from a salvage yard fairly inexpensive through work, as long as they mount up to the door the same from 98-99 to 2000-02.

All Camaro mirrors interchange between the 1993-2002 model years.

As mentioned above, the mirrors are the same, the only difference is paint color.

I'm glad you're changing them. Black mirrors look unfinished except on black cars of course.
