2 things this week and if you're following any of my other threads you'll know what 1 is. I shot over a deposit to Vector motorsports for a procharger kit and some headers, and I did something completely pointless that I've always wanted to do: Sparco steering wheel and a quick release hub

Well the car is now in the hands of Vector motorsports for the procharger and exhaust install. I did end up changing to kooks true duals at the last minute. Fingers crossed everything goes well boosting a 145k LS1.

It will be fine you should just skip the base pressure pulley so you don't wear it out only making a little power. J/K

I'm sure you'll be fine as long as you keep it reasonable.

Me too It sounds like Kooks took a while longer than expected on shipping. I think it'll be worth it for the true duals though.

The car is finally on the lift at Vector. Excited to get it back is an understatement:

Honestly I'm dying a little on the inside, I took the Jeep to a cruise this weekend and it just felt wrong. Here's hoping the Camaro gets on the dyno early next week, the blower and kooks exhaust definitely aren't going to be quiet!

On one hand I love the teaser pictures, on the other I'm probably just getting too hyped to get the car back. Hallelujah for the MWC watts link working with kooks true duals.

I'm excited for you man, there are times I wish I'd paid someone to do mine and I probably would have drove it a lot more instead of setting around as long as it has

Well still don't have the car back, but I did order some BLS lights to replace my ricey ebay projectors so that's nice I guess.

I've had the car back for a little more than a week now, it's definitely more fun and the kooks exhaust sounds great. Apparently our conversation about how much power I wanted was either forgotten or ignored and it got 404whp on a mustang dyno. I'd like to actually drive and enjoy the car before winter, but come spring time I'm going to be going with a smaller pulley to get ~7-8lbs of boost and finding a tuner who can hopefully get me into the ~480whp area I was shooting for.

Looks good. Feel free to share some audio of it with us soon. Bummer about the output level after the extended time waiting.

Gave it a quick wash today and installed the BLS head lights, they are much improved although I need to adjust the passenger side a fair amount still.

Had the car out driving for a couple of hours of shenanigans this week and it seems like it's still not idling perfect (died once when I pushed in the clutch while decelerating) With only a little more than a month left before it goes into winter storage I'm not sure I'll get it retuned before spring anyways. She still looks pretty decent though so there's that:

Well, I'm on the road for the rest of November so I had to tuck the car in for a few months. Looking forward to getting it a little more power in the spring.

Parts ordered, going with an 8-rib upgrade for my D1, kicking up the boost and slapping an LS6 intake on this spring. If it lasts the summer we can rebuild the stock block with a forged bottom which would be cool.
