Default 2002 Camaor SS newbie

Hello,

I am looking to mod a few things to my car, but I need some guidance. I am looking to change my stock rotors, but I do not know what to get? I will also be painting my calipers...any advice would be great!

Do you drive the car hard or just cruise? Cross drilled and slotted rotors like the WS6 store has look great but they are more prone to cracking.

Nathan,

I'm just a daily driver...I would like drilled and slotted, but I need them to applied to the stock calipers (which I will paint)

There are many many options for rotors/pads and caliper paint of course. My advice for daily driving, get solid rotors but find ones that have the center part painted or coated, if their are not coated they turn rusty immediately. I just replaced all 4 with rotors and pads from stop tech. Pissed they look like the original 12 year old ones I took off the car.

I recently got a set from Autozone , their 'gold' line . They're all black . The pads wear the off where they grip . Even the rear rotors, which aren't available in the 'gold' line, have a rough hat surface that doesn't rust when it gets wet.
