Default Adding a Sub and Amp to Camaro Monsoon

I have a 02 Z28 with stock monsoon amp and head unit. It still works fine but I'm wanting to add a 10" sub and amp to power it. I plan on using a amp with speaker level inputs so no need for a LOC. From reading here on a lot of threads I know to use the speaker signals before the monsoon amp. But which one to use? The signal for one of the rear extended 4" speaker or signal for one of the 6.5" subwoofer located in the rear passenger area? I'm assuming one of the subwoofer but just wanted to ask to be sure. Any input or advice from someone who has done this would be appreciated.

Thanks for all the overwhelming advice. ..lol..I'll answer my own question. I ended up using the inputs for the sub woofers located in the rear passenger area. Blue side of the monsoon amp connector E4 positive, E5 negative for the right and E6 negative, E7 positive for the left.

If nothing else, buy a cheap digital multimeter, and burn a disc with a set of test tones on it. Play them through the radio at a set volume, and measure each test tones voltage.

make a graph of it. When you're done, you have the same thing a real time analyzer would show you, and you can figure out if the speaker is getting full range sound, high, or low.

And posting this in the proper forum helps as well.

No prob. Some of those more technical sections can get overlooked at times, but they come in very handy if you need to find a quick answer or get a detailed response.
