Not sure of the age as they were on the car when I acquired it. Car still drives smooth so no need to add that expense right now.

I have closed the hood several times with no sign of hitting or resistance. If it does for some reason in the future no big deal as I can clock the maf.

The car has been stored at my parents house which is off a gravel road for the last few years so it has collected some unwanted dust. Detailed the engine bay this weekend so it is looking better.

Finished up the sway bar and heat shield tonight. Also topped of the transmission and finished my fuel line. Line is ptfe stainless braided line with two 45 degree -6 an fittings.

Opted to make my own fees line to keep the crossover line in front because it looks better IMO.

On the list for tomorrow is to run through every nut and bolt and top off the break in oil and radiator fluid. Then startup. . .

Working on getting my steering and a arms bolted in correctly. On the side I compared the draglites I'll be running to the stockers.

Also took a chance and got my Berger panel installed with stainless inserts.

Last but not least all fluids are in and start up is scheduled for tomorrow!!

Car fired first try unfortunately the fuel crossover tube leaked so summit is sending me a new one when it arrives I'll fire it back up.

Sounded healthy for a second and held great oil pressure.

Well second crossover delivered today and same issue the thing leaked. Calling summit and fast tomorrow to see what the deal is. Even put new -8 orb fittings on the rails. So tomorrow I'm making an hour drive to a speed shop that carried the fittings and ptfe line I need and I'll make my own crossover.

Bogart d10 (smooth style) prices will very but they seem to be going used for anything from 1200-1800. Price new are up there since they are made to order.

Thanks man. Yeah I was in that same boat so I started the LQ build on the side and still had the ls1 in the car.

I did a shakedown run Sunday and most everything went well. Keep in mind everything is on a start up tune so all I did was run up some RPM's then engine brakes to let the rings break in and seat.

I do have some suspension adjustments to make and steering. Which brings up a few questions with the adjust-ability of tubular K and A Arms what does everyone do as far as alignments are concerned??

I bought my car with all the suspension and chassis upgrades and he left alignment sheet in the car for me. Only thing that's missing is subframe connectors which still has me scratching my head.

He put all that suspension on and no subframe connectors? That is odd. Have you put some on yet? That was the first thing I did when I picked up the car. Went with a set of hotchkis weld ins.

I been shopping them probably end up with bmr as that is what the rest of my chassis parts are. I will look into those Hotchkis though.

If I would do over I would look at the 3 point connectors that bolt to the transmission tunnel brace location. Main reason there is added support if you run a short torque arm (Like I am running) Just food for thought since you havent purchased yet.

Build a race car they said. . . It'll be fun they said . . .

So took the car to put some miles on and also get the front end aligned and on the way home the fuel rail on the drivers side decided to come up and unseat the injectors. . . Needless to say I am very glad nothing sparked because fuel went everywhere.

Has anyone had a similar issue? I am trying to see how I can remedy the problem.
