Strange Jumper/Electrical Issues
Hello all,
First off, I apologize if this is in the wrong area. I am new here
I recently bought a 2000 Camaro Z28/SS and it has some electrical issues. There is a huge battery drain somewhere in the system, so in my attempt to diagnose the problem, I notices a strange jumper wire in one of the fuse panels.
There are two small wires attached to what I believe is just a terminal running directly to the positive terminal of the battery (red circle). The wires were run up through the bottom of the fuse box and each attached to the INJ 2 and INJ 1 fuses (green circles).

I can't for the life of me figure out why anybody would want to be running wires like that into the Injector fuses. From what I've found through some research, this is not stock. I removed the wires and the car starts and runs just fine.
Can anybody shed any light on this?
