New Harness?

New Harness?
Hi! I am a long time lurker, first time posting.
I just recently bought a 67 Camaro that has been sitting for a long time. The car has a 454 currently, and it runs, although the wiring under the hood and throughout the car is questionable. The main issue is that the taillights aren't working currently.
I began to troubleshoot and realized that the fuses under the dash are corroded pretty bad. I am seeing that the grounds and fuse connections seem to be a common problem for electrical issues and a whole new wiring harness kit from American Auto Wire is recommended as cleaning the corroded fuse terminals is likely a short term fix unless they are coated. I would like to get the car on the road with the 454 for now, but within the next year or so, I would like to swap to lq4 or ls1 so I don't want to waste money on multiple harnesses.
My questions are... is there a wiring harness for lighting etc. I can pull out of other, easily found junkyard cars for lighting and such? Maybe something lq4/ls1 based that would help me when I do the swap? I am assuming it would be easier to just retain a 67 harness for lighting and non drivetrain related though.. Are there any other cheap options out there that would hopefully help me in the long run, and ideally not be super expensive? The American Auto Wire harness is 600, so not horrible..
Thanks for all the help!

For a car that old, the best direction is aftermarket. AAW is a good company and ive installed several of their chassis harnesses
Your original issue of corroded contacts in the fuseblock is due to moisture (humidity and/or leaks). Solve this issue and the new harness will last for decades. Look to the door/window seals and proper ventilation. Parking the car in a garage is also a good idea, although I cant imagine anyone parks a first gen outside
A junkyard solution to lighting isnt realistic. Light harnesses are unique to a specific car, sometimes even model and change year to year. Your camaro is coming up on 50 years old so there isnt anything still in a yard that would have a similar system that is in decent shape to use
To prepare for the swap, just ensure the new chassis harness has a 10-12ga wire ran from the tank to the engine bay so you wont have to run one external to the main bundle later. Order a stand alone harness for the new powerplant from any mfr. It will be a self contained unit with minimal hook-ups that mostly come from your old engine harness
