1980 camaro Ls swap ?
I have a few qestions about the swap. Google, has not given the answers to them.
i will be making around 800hp when done building my 6.0, do i need to fab my own engine mounts or will the ones from say dirty dingo hold that much power?
i will have a cowl hood, so clearance up top is good. But can i use the truck pulleys and mounts? From a 5.3 out of a 03 tahoe. I do not want to notch the k member. I will get a holley oil pan.
last... i will probaly carb it. Will the msd ls box be enough or do engines around 800 to 1000 hp use a custom coil and spark management box?

If you are going to make that much power on just motor. That will be a rough job for a 6.0 408 I'm assuming. Loose all that stuff on the front of the motor. Get the ATI super damper with the serpentine belt groves in it. Go with an electric water pump. Then you have only one belt for the alternator. Nice and clean. You may consider a tubular Kmember. If they make one for that year. Makes header fitment and variety a lot easier. You can also get a better oil pan. (more quarts)
Get the MSD 6014. If your going carb.
