Default 2002 z28 m6

Just recently got a 2002 z-28 six speed with t-tops a Hurst shift ****? i think and looks like a flowmaster muffler and tips. So my question is what are some good cheap mods to do? I've had two other v6 camaros so I know some of the stuff but just wanted to see what would be a great way to go. I'm mostly want to keep it easy to maintain and very streetable. This is also my first manual car so hints there would also help.

What do you define as cheap? You could do a ram air setup, ported TB, etc...cheap as hell but will do very little on their own

I mean under 1k for now down the road maybe more. Also suffering from occasional no starts I will have the clutch fully engaged and the brake as well and it sometimes will not start after 1-5 trys it usually will finally start. Is it the clutch safety switch or something else?

Before doing any further mods of any kind, first give it a good tune and fix the no start. What do you mean by no start? Does it crank? or nothing at all happens when you turn the ignition. Id start a thread in general repairs to get more answers.
