Question CME = GMMG/Madhammer?

Hopefully I'm not in the wrong place for this noob q, but I'm hoping someone can clear this up for me

If I have this straight- GMMG went under decades ago, but I guess continued to produce their chambered exhaust under the name Madhammer- which is now also extinct, correct?

Come tax time I'm planning on picking up a 35th LE, and if the GMMG is gonna be a bitch to find I want to start looking right meow. Also, if I can find myself an fbody with the 345 CME option, am I getting the equivalent chambered exhaust?

Someone halp.

No, Madhammer originally made the exhaust for GMMG. I believe GMMG has started selling them again but they are Madhammer exhaust.

Definitely not. The stock CME setup was an SLP option on SS only, and it used the SLP dual/dual catback (same as other SS cars optioned with dual/dual but not the CME valance, also standard on all LS1 Firehawks) with different tailpipes and tips. The SLP dual/dual catback used a turbo style muffler that's known for great flow and low volume (it's very quiet with stock manifolds/cats). It sounds nothing like a chambered GMMG system.

OK perfect, that's exactly what I needed to know. I had an SLP cat-back on my 2002 years ago. It sounded good, but not exactly what I'm looking for.

how is the GMMG setup with the A4? Do you get any drown when cruising or on highway? I have the CME and thinking about changing to GMMG cat back but keeping CME tips
