The car is painted and is being reassembled. Images of the completed project are forthcoming.
The wheels arrived today. They are Forgeline RB3C with an anodized bronze center, polished outer rim, and satin black inner rim. The front are 18 X 9.5, 6.5” BS with a 275/35-18 RT660 tire and the rear are 18 X 11, 7” BS with a 315/30-18 RT660 tire. I could not be happier with the color against the blue paint.
A **** ton of sweat equity into this 3rd gen. Results are incredible OP.
Thanks, it has been a long time coming and frustrating at times, but I’m really happy with how it turned out. I still have to finish the interior and the rear diffuser, so stay tuned. I will get some better pictures in the next couple of weeks.
Love the color choice! Excellent fab work and I really like those door handles... may have to look into them.
Thank you very much for the kind words. Have a few beers before you look into the door handles, alcohol tends to loosen my wallet.
Also your wheel supports? Where did those come from? Been looking at race ramps for mine those look really sturdy and adjustable.
I get asked about them a lot. There is a website called “My Lift Stands” (it could be one word). Refer back to the answer above about the alcohol. I do really like them because I have limited space and a low ceiling in my garage, so a full size lift is out of the question. They are compact enough to stack under a workbench and they have two positions, 7” and 14”. I’ve adjusted the suspension with weight on wheels and replaced the transmission and it rolled out from under the car on a transmission jack.
Wish I had the room for a mid rise lift, the ones with the open space in the middle for drive line work. I could put one down, but I'd have to live it with being on the floor all the time. That would make getting in and out of the garage much harder.
