Hi everyone, new here.
I have a '94 3.4 auto Camaro which my dad and I pulled out of someone's yard, and we've been able to fix everything besides a very high idle.
At the moment, it will start up and run at 1500 for a while, after which it will try to idle lower, but the engine shakes a little bit and it goes up to 2000 rpm, then throws the SES light. I can't retrieve the code is throwing either, I don't think my scanner can read everything.
What I don't understand is that I don't hear any knocking or pinging or anything, engine runs extremely smooth on the highway. One thing I did notice is that when I let off the throttle to turn off the highway, the car will throw an SES light as I'm decelerating. Then after some more driving it goes away.
Any help is appreciated.
