? about third gens Buddy of mine has a 82 camaro with a 2.8. He wants to go from auto to manual. Question is will a 5spd from a 89 IROC bolt up to a 2.8 from an 82? Any info would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure they'd bolt up correctly, but I know the 82 manual cars used a saginaw 4 speed. I'm not sure if they'd play any part in which transmission you could use.
