Question Chevrolet History Info

Hey guys, I wasn't really sure where to post this at but I figured the Camaro section would be the best place to find an answer. I'm doing a speech for one of my college classes about the history of Chevrolet (How it got started, all that good stuff) I was just wondering if any of you guys could point me toward some resources to find good information. I'm wanting info about how the company was started, what kind of advances they brought to the automotive field, and facts of that nature. Thanks in advance!

I belive I read that the name Cheverolet came from a race car driver. Don't quote me on this, Im sure someone can correct me on this. If no one can come up with more info maybe you can post your report on this thread, should be a good read.

You are right about the name "Chevrolet" I found that online. Chevrolet was named after a race car driver name Louis Chevrolet. I decided to narrow down the subject for my speech and just do the history of the Camaro line. For some reason there wasn't too much information on how Chevrolet got started on the internet or at the library??? Thanks for the help though.
