wrong.

I sold my last '69 SS coupe for $60K. A fully restored stock 69 SS-350 would have sold for about $35K.

This one will clear $100K when I'm done with it. It doesn't have a numbers matching engine in it anyways, so that will hurt the value more than having a modern LS6 twin-turbo will. The newer stuff adds value to the car.

I wouldn't customize a numbers matching original. I wouldn't even buy a numbers matching original. If this car were completely original, in fully restored form, it would only be worth about $40-45K max. Mine will sell for twice that amount when I'm done with it.

Tony likes to build 'em and drive 'em for a bit ,then start a new project. I'll bet when he was a kid , he built the heck out of some model cars.

thats no lie. Me and two of my friends used to build model cars almost every day. We even saved all the fancy chrome parts from all the kits in a big box and would call dibs on mods to put on our next kits

Yah, I kept a box of hp parts too. Slicks, blowers ect.
Ah yes to be young again, dreaming about pumping twin turbo's into everything. Nice to play with the real thing now aint it! Now my box of hp parts is in my shed - full scale.

Good luck with the build.

I want to be like Tony when I grow up. That jerk has probably never owned anything that wasn' t twice as nice as it was new. He takes some beautiful cars, makes them better, then sells them! WTF? I' d give my left nut....well, hell I' d give both for just one of his cars! Tony, you suck man!

haha. True, I've never left any vehicle I purchased alone. I even fixed up the beaters I've owned!

Ya know, there IS a difference between not leaving a vehicle "alone" and the extensive mods you do to them. I' ve never left one of my vehicles "alone", but everything I' ve owned looks 20 years old compared to you rides!
