I have a 2000 Camaro Z28. I am new to Camaros but I heard there is an upgrade package I can get to go from my LS1 to and LS6....I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this package and where I can find one for sale. I understand they are pretty expensive but I am really interested in getting my hands on one. Thanks a lot guys.

It's a head/cam/intake kit from GM Performance Parts. You can get it at a GM dealer. I have also seen it listed in Summit Racing's catalog too. I don't remember prices off the top of my head though.

Just LS1 to LS6 conversion package. there's a 1997 to 2000 version and then there's the 2001,2002 package that doesn't have the LS6 intake since the motors came with these already.

It's not a bad deal for that package but for about 1000.00 more you could a lot more heads and cam. The LS6 cam is fairly mild and the heads are ,too. A definite improvement over the LS1 stuff but I would personally save a little more money for a lot more performance.

Really not worth doing. Cam is small, Haeds are just 234 casting ls6 heads (there are better out there) and LS6 intake. You can do better for less. The package will probably net you 350rwhp with headers.
