Default 99' Z-28 1sc?

I PURCHASED A ONYX BLACK 99' Z-28-M6 ABOUT 2 1/2 MONTHS AGO. I'VE LOOKED AT A TON OF SS AND Z-28'S AND THE (DELETE) OPTIONS MY CAR HAS ARE STRANGE BUT I LIKE THE CAR THIS WAY. IT HAS NO PW,PDL,PW-SEAT,PW-HATCH,REAR-WINDOW-DEF,DRIVING-LIGHTS,TCS,OR CC. ALSO CAM WITH AN AM/FM RADIO. THE ONE OPTION IT DOES HAVE IS T-TOP'S. RARE OR ? DID CHEVY EVER MAKE A 1LE WITH T-TOPS? I DON'T THINK SO. ALL I KNOW IS THAT THE CAR GET'S IT!!

My '99 has only a power steering cooler and a single CD Monsoon. That's it. It has ZERO other options.

If you are asking if your car is a 1LE, check the RPO codes on the sticker. It will say 1LE if the car is one. I don't think any came with T-tops, but I'm not a 1LE fanatic and not an expert on them by any means.

Sounds like a stripper Z to me. There's a few around, not a whole lot though. Most were pretty loaded up. I don't think the numbers breakdown let you see how rare it is though. 1LE was an SS only option from SLP in 99 and most of the 98+ cars I believe.

I agree with you about his car. Mine is pretty damn rare too. Dealers would not order a "stripper" as they want to make profit off the options too. Strippers were usually customer-ordered cars.

I *think* you are wrong about 1LE being an SS only option. I have a buddy with a '99 1LE, and his car is a Z28, not an SS. Again, I haven't researched this, just going off personal experience.

Yeah..not sure about the 1LE...I know it did change to an SS only SLP option but I'm not sure what year it was. Might have been 00 or 01.
